Puerto Williams is the starting point of many interesting, though hardly visited trekking tours. Whether for one or a few days, you can roam the seemingly impenetrable wilderness’ hidden tracks.
The southernmost trekking tour in the world, the Dientes de Navarino Circuit, is right on our doorstep. It leads in 3-4 days around the “Teeth of Navarino Island” massif.
This demanding hike guides you through dense forest, past cold mountain lakes and across tundra-like plains. With good visibility you can even see Cape Horn in the distance.
For more distant destinations, such as the remote Darwin Range with its subpolar rainforest and ice armoured peaks, you will need the assistance of a boat.
Puerto Williams is geared to hikers. Many locals have useful tips about the circuit and can help with organisation, provisions and even weather forecast.
There is also an outdoor equipment rental service on site.
We are gladly at your disposal in words & deeds!
