The Vessels
From the Fuegian Archipelago with its endless labyrinth of coves, channels, and islets, to the vastness of Antarctica, sea navigation remains the oldest and most comprehensive way to explore this remote area. From luxurious cruise ships, to fishing boats, the area is accessed by a few each year, and even fewer when it comes to including areas off the commercial track.
We are fortunate and proud to say that we have chosen to be part of the latter.
At SIM Expeditions we aim at combining exploration and the ancient tradition of sailing in order to obtain an experience that will be unique due to the almost unlimited access and close encounters with flora & fauna, peoples, and landscapes.
SIM Expeditions works in collaboration with two sailboats crewed by experienced sailors who know every inch of this area.
