Booking Your Own Charter Expedition

3 Easy Steps are All You Need in order to join an Expedition!

1. You Choose.

If you would like to book and join a Scheduled Sailing Expedition , please go to our “Contact Us” section and fill out a short form requesting either more information, or if you have made up your mind, go ahead and request a Reservation hold to be placed for a certain berth/expedition under your name.

With this Reservation you will be assigned a fifteen (15), ten (10), or five (5) business-days long “Reservation Grace Period” * (depending on how long in advance prior to the expedition start date you let us know) in order for you to have enough time to decide upon upgrading your request from Reservation to a definite Confirmed status.

2. You Confirm.

In order to obtain a Confirmed status, you must have two documents be received by us, before the end of the assigned “Reservation Grace Period”.

First, we need you to read, understand, sign, and send to us your Expedition Contract (available in our “Expedition Documents” section of the site's main menu).

Second, you must send us proof (receipt) of the first payment in order to complete the upgrade from “Expedition Reservation”, to Expedition Confirmed” status.**

3. You Sail!

Once all paperwork and deposits are received by us, your only task left will just be to have the adventure of a lifetime.

* “Reservation Grace Periods” of fifteen (15) days, ten (10) days, and five (5) days are assigned to requests made six months, between six months and three months, and between three months and six weeks prior to the expedition's start date, respectively.

** Once a “Expedition Confirmed” status is received, more documents will be required to be sent to SIM Expeditions by client, regarding personal information in order to prepare all required paperwork for border crossings and naval outbound clearances.

Important Notes:

  • Please note that you can choose from three different payment methods. One single payment, two payments and three payments are available. The payment method of choice must be elected and marked on the “Expedition Contract”. For further information on payments, cancellations, and more, please go to our “Expedition Documents” section and view or/and download SIM Expeditions Terms & Conditions.
  • Expedition Contracts can be sent via e-mail. Proof of deposit (receipt) can also be sent via e-mail. Please make sure this information is received by SIM Expeditions before the expiration date of the assigned “Reservation Grace Period”.
  • Please note that we do not book hotels, transportation or any other services besides of those of the Expedition itself. Free on-line travel guides such as tripadvisor.com are widely available. Information on flights, taxis, buses, and others services are also widely available on the internet. For helpful information on a variety of topics, please read our “Useful Information” section on this same website.
  • For any other enquiries, please don't hesitate and request more information through our “Contact Us” section, or simply write to us to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • For all enquiries, we kindly ask for a two business-days period in order for us to respond all requests
