Out on the wast Pacific....
Yes Wolf, you were right, this NW-12 sailing leg is indeed an "open-ocean" sailing; actually, I would call it an 'endlessly wast ocean..."! Sharring this voyage with Martin (the skipper), Denis (my friend from France) and Hajo, Hans, Menix and Rato, has been unique and rich experience.

The 'work' with/on the boat, and to provide us with daily provisions, to maintain healthy sanitary conditions is an ongoing one..., days, weeks and weeks of sailing get 'filled up'.

I admire the high-seas sailing skills that Martin, and the rest of the crew, has. I try hard hard to contribute too. Of course, we do not lack giant and majestic wawes, erratic winds, 'pleasant'rocking  around..., and endless blue, grey, foamy, misty, glittering Pacific Ocean.

The playful family of Albatros that has been our faithful company gives us a pleasant felling of that 'other' life out there too..., the 'leader' of these beatiful birds must be quite over one meter accross the wing span. Let's hope Mr. Poseidon will remain friendly inclined to us... We look forward to reaching
"THE" Horn!
